This article is about how the Sahel is a place of opportunities, full of human, natural and cultural resources that are significant and abundant, however, the region is  facing many challenges, including insecurity, rising extremism, as well as lack of economic prospects and employment opportunities, while also experiencing poor access to education, vocational education and training and basic services and climate change is weakening the whole region further.
