Unlocking the Power of Digital Technologies to Support 'Learning to Earning' for Displaced Youth

25 August 2021 - 25 August 2021

UNICEF’s Education Section and the Office of Global Insight and Policy are excited to share the results of the “Unlocking the Power of Digital Technologies to Support 'Learning to Earning' for Displaced Youth” report, developed in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands (MFA) and the PROSPECTS Partnership. The PROSPECTS Partnership is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, and brings together the ILO, IFC, UNHCR, UNICEF and the World Bank to address education, employment and protection in the context of forced displacement.

The learning event will provide an overview of promising digital technologies that are being used to support youth’s transition from school to work, 'learning to earning’, in displaced and host communities globally. It also distills a set of learnings and provides recommendations to policy makers on improving scale and effectiveness.
