Employment in a Changing World: Effective digital solutions to support career guidance for youth

07 May 2024 - 07 May 2024

As a partner of the Digital Skills Campaign led by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Aspire to Innovate (a2i) has been committed to providing advanced digital skills training to 250,000 youth in Bangladesh since 2019. The main objective of the commitment is to empower youth in the country and equip them with a wide range of digital skills aligning with the labor market’s needs and demands.

In line with these efforts, a2i, in partnership with ILO and ITU, will be conducting a knowledge sharing webinar on “Employment in a changing world: Effective digital solutions to support career guidance for youth”, on Tuesday 7 May 2024 at 11:00 CEST (15:00 Dhaka time).

Objective: The webinar aims to highlight good practices and experiences from Bangladesh and around the world in terms of supporting career guidance for youth, as well as to share lessons learned and call for action on collective efforts to support underserved youth through career guidance.

It will particularly showcase solutions, lessons learned, and innovative practices on digital initiatives oriented towards enhancing digital skills and improving employment prospects for young people; and will provide an open platform for discussion with partners who are willing to learn more and engage in this area, including stakeholders who are planning to design and implement inclusive digital solutions for career guidance for youth.
