The European Youth Portal offers European and country level information about opportunities and initiatives that are of interest to young people who are living, learning and working in Europe. It addresses young people, but also other stakeholders working in the field of youth (youth organisations, youth workers, policy makers, etc.).
Structure
You can find 4 main types of content on the European Youth Portal, each grouped in a specific section:
- Thematic pages related to EU youth policies: “Get involved” - you can find articles about active citizenship, from different angles
- Thematic pages related to opportunities to go abroad: “Go abroad” - you can browse the different opportunities related to internship, volunteering, studying, working, training, travelling, etc.
- EU-funded programme/initiative pages: “EU initiatives” - you can locate information about the different initiatives and programmes funded by the EU like Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps, DiscoverEU, Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange, and many more.
- Policy pages: “EU Youth Strategy” - you can access information related to the EU Youth Strategy
- In addition to these 4 main types of content, you can read stories and testimonials of young people, news, and check for events.
